Maybe you’ve noticed that our Coke or Pepsi? website features music in the iPod and that you can toggle the music on and off by clicking the center circle of the click wheel. And, maybe, you’ve written to ask us about the music you hear there. Lots of you have!

While working on the new Coke or Pepsi? website plans last fall, Mickey Gill knew he wanted to have an iPod that played real music. We went looking and decided to feature a song called, Date with New York City.

We weren’t sure who was singing, but we used the tune anyway because we loved it, and we thought Coke or Pepsi? fans would love it, too. And we were right. A lot of you are writing to ask us about that song. You want to know who sings it and where you can buy it.
