Back by popular demand, Best Buds is a simple yet amazingly fun way for you to create a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
The book is spiral-bound, which means you can lay it out flat (which is perfect for writing and drawing). There are 31 2-page sections so you and 30 of your BFF’s can all fill out the pages. Since the pages contain spaces for the most basic contact information, like phone numbers and email addresses, it also makes a pretty smart “address” book for girls who like to stay in touch with their best buds.
Nancy Panaccione, the talented artist behind the design and the illustrations in Best Buds, also created two pages of fun comment and image stickers so you can “glam” up your pages (or someone else’s).
So express yourself and have fun!
To get your own copy of Best Buds, visit the Scholastic Book Fair at your school and look for our books there. Or you can get your parents to order Best Buds directly from us.
This is so cool!
My friend has the older version, and it totally rocked her life. ^-^ Now I really want this version, because it looks and sounds so awesome. I can’t wait until I get to buy this book. But the problem is, I can’t buy it from any bookstore, ’cause my parents go book shopping online, instead of from stores. Besides this website, are there any other websites or maybe stores that carry them?
Thanks!
@Krystal G.: We’re thrilled that you love the book! I’ve done a quick search (by ISBN number) and it appears that we’re the only ones selling this edition of the book.
You can find old editions on Amazon.com and on Barnes & Noble.
I really like your books. They are fun to use at sleep-overs b-day parties, or just when you hang out with friends! I just bought “my best year” and it looks like a cool diary/journal to use. I’m saving it for next year.
what is this book about?
Madison – This book is kind of like an address book and a Coke or Pepsi? book all in one. There are enough pages to fill out one pair for yourself and then get 30 friends to fill out a pair. They’ll be noting contact information (like their name, nickname, e-mail address, phone number, and birthday) as well as fun Coke or Pepsi? kind of information like their favorite music artist and their favorite hang out.
The author and illustrator, Nancy Panaccione, is very talented and the graphics are great. There are also 2 pages of fun stickers that you can use to embellish the pages of the book. The book itself is neatly spiral bound inside the hard cover so that you can lay the book flat when you’re writing inside. We’ll try to put up a few more images on this blog post and on the bookstore book page for you!
